Movies

Movies are short, 15-120 second long animated segments that you earn from progressing through Main Courses. There is one movie every 12 courses you complete. The first movie is unlocked after completing Course 6 (New Bee Golf), and the last movie is unlocked after completing Course 162 (Loco Moto Lagoon). There are 14 movies in total.

Below is a list of all the movies with synopses. The synopses will contain spoilers so do not scroll down if you do not wish to be spoiled.

The gopher present in all the movies will be named McDivot for simplicity.

Since the Beginning of Time (1)

A narrator explains in the year 1436 in the Scottish Highlands, golfers and gophers had a war. Despite the gophers' fierce battle, it did not end well for them. He then explains since the beginning of time, golfers and gophers were rivals- from Ancient Egypt to the discovery of the New World. However, he then explains that one gopher (McDivot) will seek revenge and make a stand. McDivot is then shown speaking gibberish as a "Big Fish Studios" card falls on top of him, ending the movie.

Blueprint for Disaster (2)

In a gopher hole full of anti-golfer materials, from dart boards with golfers on them to plans for something on a golf course, McDivot is quickly scribbling something on a desk. He then looks at it, and begins to laugh louder and eviler until green light shines behind him.

Unlocked: Course 18 (Piper Dune)

Rodent Robbery (3)

On a golf store's security camera, during the night, sneaky McDivot is seen trying to steal a large box. The box has the letters "PC" on it and a picture of a computer with a golf hole on the screen. McDivot carries up the box, but the weight of the box causes it to squish McDivot. McDivot carries it back up and bounces off the camera screen with the box on top of him.

Unlocked: Course 30 (Old Gray)

In the Lab (4)

Back in McDivot's hole, McDivot, wearing a lab outfit and goggles, tries to pull down a switch and electrocutes himself into ash. A lightbulb near him then lights up and explodes, causing the room to turn black and McDivot to grumble.

Clearcutting (5)

On a golf course, the flags for holes 6, 7, and 8 are seen cut off from their poles on the holes, and fallen over onto the green. On the green for hole 9, a sawing sound is heard and then the flag tips over. McDivot is revealed to be underneath it with a saw, having been squashed by the fallen flagpole.

Drive By Snooting (6)

McDivot is seen peeking into a shed, and secretly bounces in. He trips on the way, and then gets back up. He scans the surroundings for anything interesting, and then gets on a golf cart. As soon as he grabs the steering wheel, the cart accelerates backwards and crashes. McDivot then drives the damaged cart slowly forward and out of the shed.

Fore! (7)

Back in McDivot's hole, McDivot is seen writing something on a clipboard. Suddenly, a golf ball flies into the top of the hole, bounces on tires, flags, and other equipment in McDivot's hole, and finally bouncing into McDivot's face. He then is on the ground with a bruised eye with the ball next to him, and flops back down.

The Golfinator (8)

On a fairway, McDivot's contraption rolls onto the screen, with McDivot following with a smug look. The "Golfinator" is made up of a car, a golf ball basket, two iron bags, hedge trimmers, and many more golf course equipment. McDivot, holding a controller, talks to his machine and presses the button on his controller. The cannon and everything else gets into position, but nothing happens. McDivot presses his button again, and again, and a few more times. McDivot, finally frustrated, throws a tantrum and then gets angry at the machine. He punches his machine and presses the button repeatedly, not knowing his machine's cannon is aimed directly at him. The cannon fires a golf ball at McDivot, who tries to unsuccessfully flee, and then drives itself over McDivot. The machine attacks McDivot repeatedly until the machine explodes. In the wreckage of the machine, the skull and crossbones flag on an iron is changed to a white flag, and McDivot peeks over the wreckage and grumbles. A golf ball hits his head and he flops over, ending the movie.

McZilla (9)

During a sunny day, McDivot's swipes off a "no gophers" sign as a golfer walks up the fairway to practice golf. The golfer places his ball on a tee and readies to swing, but he stops when he sees McDivot next to his tee. The golfer blinks as the gopher stares at him, until the gopher lightly taps the ball off the tee, making the golfer upset and McDivot laugh. However, before the golfer could do anything, McDivot suddenly grows to the size of the golfer. McDivot grumbles at the golfer, picks up his iron, and snaps it in half. The golfer watches in shock as McDivot grows higher and bigger until he is many times the size of the golfer. The golfer mumbles in fear and runs off before McDivot tries to step on him. McDivot, now very large, stomps his way towards the golf course's clubhouse, and people flee from the scene when McDivot lets out a large bellow. McDivot picks up a golf cart, flicks it into his mouth, and eats it. McDivot bellows again, until it is revealed it was all a dream and everything never happened. McDivot, who is actually badly hurt and in casts on a hospital bed. Footage of his incident with his contraption is shown on a small TV next to him, and McDivot sighs. However, an arm with a glove extends near McDivot, and, afraid of what the arm is going to do, McDivot runs out of the bed and off the screen.
