Great Shots are a feature on every hole. Play a streak of cards to fill up the Great Shot meter, which will give you bonus cards and rewards.
Irons and Midas Clubs count towards Great Shots. However, playing Sand Wedge cards and Rain Umbrella cards do not. Also, clearing Rough, Frost, or Deep Rough do not count towards the meter.
Great Shot Pattern[]
- Play one streak of 6 cards to earn a bonus card. This is known as a "Good Shot"
- Play one streak of 7 cards to earn a second bonus card. This is known as a "Nice Shot"
- Finally, play a streak of 9 cards to get a Gold Flag Reward!
Gold Flag Rewards[]
Once you play the 9 cards in a row, you will get a Gold Flag Reward. Eight Reward Cards will be displayed on the screen, and they all have prizes inside. Prizes can be Golf Bucks, Shuffles, Previews, or Midas Clubs!

Trivia[]
- Every time you get a Gold Flag, you get 15 Club Chips and one stamp.
- If you choose the 5 GB prize for the Gold Flag, a Gopher is on the card and you will hear the laughing gopher noise.
- If you play a Great Shot Gold Flag on every hole of a course, you will earn the Great Shot medal. This will count towards earning Pro Stars on the course.
- The first Great Shot meter is dark blue, the second is light blue, and the third is gold.
- Some Wild Shot cards, such as Picked Up by Bird and Hit the Cart Path will increase your Great Shot meter by 30% and 20% respectively. Wild Shot cards do not reset a player's Great Shot meter.
