Golf Bucks are the currency used in Fairway Solitaire.
Uses[]
- Purchase Irons before starting and during courses. (500 GB / iron before a course, 750 GB / iron during a course)
- Irons will always have a 33% discount when buying before a course, so always buy irons before courses to save Golf Bucks.
- Purchase boosters, such as Mulligans, Shuffles, and Previews. (1,000 GB for Shuffles and Previews, 800 GB for Mulligans)
- At the end of a hole, if there is still cards left, you can purchase 5 extra cards to try and remove the remaining cards. (2,000 GB)
- It's better to use irons instead of the 5 extra cards since Irons guarantee to remove cards, while the +5 cards can or can not.
- Speed up starting Tours (available after Course 22, 1,000 GB)
How to Earn[]
There are many ways you can earn Golf Bucks.
- Earn stars. Each star will give you 100 golf bucks.
- By earning Gold Flag great shots.
- Prize values in order: 5 GB (laughing gopher), 250 GB, 500 GB, 750 GB, 1500 GB, 2500 GB, 3000 GB, 5000 GB
- There can be more than one of each prize cards to choose from. For example, there can be 2 2,500 GB prize cards from a Great Shot.
- Completing Stamp Collections. 800-950 GB
- Completing Tours. Depending on the difficulty, tours can give you from 500 GB up to 5,000 GB.
- Completing Daily Goals. Each daily goal completed will give you Golf Bucks depending on its difficulty. If all the goals are completed, you can Pro Star all Daily Courses to earn 10,000 GB.
- Beating Minigames. Below is a table of the possible Golf Bucks earned from Minigames.
- Gopher Geyser: Up to 1,000 GB
- Lost Ball: 500-1,500 GB
- Long Drive: 200-400 GB
- Side Bet: 400-600 GB
- Whack-A-Gopher: No limit
- Completing courses. Some courses will give you Golf Bucks rewards when completed.
- Unlocking Treasure. The more value the treasure is, the more golf bucks you will get. However, there are possibilities of other rewards as well, treasure cards do not appear very often, and (especially the more valuable treasure) can be difficult to unlock.
- Basic Treasure: 1,000 GB (available after Course 18)
- Deluxe Treasure: 2,500 GB (available after Course 30)
- Exquisite Treasure: 5,000 GB (available after Course 50)
- Clicking or tapping a Gopher during a course. These can reward you a small amount of 15-60 Golf Bucks.
- Watch ads in the News section for 500 Golf Bucks. You can earn a maximum of 2,000 GB total, so it's not a good idea to rely heavily on ads as a source of Golf Bucks.
- Earning Trophies. Trophies can reward you anywhere between 500 to 10,000 Golf Bucks.
- Buying Golf Bucks from the shop using real money.
